Three people were rushed to hospital following a stabbing in a North London park on the evening of July 1. The incident occurred at Byron Recreation Ground in Wealdstone, Harrow, at approximately 9.05pm, after reports of an altercation involving a large group.
Victims and Injuries
Paramedics treated two men in their 20s and a teenage boy at the scene before transporting them for further medical treatment. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that their injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
Police Response and Investigation
In a statement released this afternoon, the Metropolitan Police said: "Officers are aware of several incidents in the local area and continue to investigate the circumstances. We recognise the concern from local people and officers are carrying out additional patrols." No arrests have been made so far, and enquiries are ongoing. A cordon was established around the park, with tape sealing off several entrances while investigators collected evidence.
Separate Incident in Colindale
The stabbing occurred two hours before a separate incident in Colindale, where a man in his 20s sustained potentially life-changing injuries. The victim was knifed in front of a row of houses on Booth Road and was taken to a major trauma centre.
