A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a stabbing in North London in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency Response on Highgate Hill
The incident occurred near a McDonald's restaurant on Highgate Hill in Islington. Emergency services, including police and ambulance crews, were called to the scene at approximately 1.30am on Monday, 1 December 2025, following reports of a person being attacked with a knife.
Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim who had sustained stab wounds. He was treated at the location before being rushed to a nearby Accident & Emergency department as a priority patient.
Ongoing Police Investigation
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed they are investigating the attack. Officers remain at the location this morning, where a cordon is in place as forensic examinations are carried out.
A spokesperson for the force stated that enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made at this early stage. The condition of the victim is not yet known, and authorities are awaiting an update from the hospital.
