A man has been killed after a tree fell onto a caravan during Storm Goretti, which continues to cause severe disruption across the United Kingdom.
Tragic Discovery in Cornish Caravan
Devon and Cornwall Police reported that emergency services were called to the Mawgan area of Helston, Cornwall, at approximately 7.35pm on Thursday, 8 January 2026. Officers discovered the body of a man inside the caravan.
The victim, a man in his 50s, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police have informed his next of kin, who are now receiving support from specialist officers.
