A major fire has engulfed a warehouse in Southall, West London, with around 150 firefighters deployed to tackle the raging blaze.

The incident began at approximately 8.55am on Tuesday, November 25. The fire is tearing through a two-storey building on Bridge Road that contains both warehouse and retail space. Reports indicate that around three-quarters of the structure is alight.
The London Fire Brigade has confirmed it received more than 50 calls from concerned residents as thick, black smoke billowed from the site, creating a plume visible for miles around.
Emergency Response and Impact
Crews from Southall, Heston, Ealing, and other nearby fire stations are at the scene, utilising 25 fire engines. Authorities have issued urgent advice to local residents, urging them to keep their doors and windows closed due to the significant smoke.
The fire has caused severe traffic disruption in the area. Drivers are being warned to avoid Bridge Road and allow extra time for journeys if travel is essential.
Explosions Captured on Video
Dramatic footage shared widely on social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok, shows intense flames and dense smoke dominating the West London skyline. Commuters on the Elizabeth Line reported seeing the smoke plume clearly.
Several videos have captured loud explosions from within the burning building, with sharp bangs audible and flashes visible through the smoke, causing audible reactions of shock from onlookers.
The cause of the fire is not yet known. The London Fire Brigade continues to battle the blaze.
