British Transport Police (BTP) have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to after a woman was sexually assaulted as she got off a train at London Bridge Underground station. The incident occurred at around 5.40pm on Friday, August 7, on a Northern Line train.
Assault as victim left the train
The woman was leaving the train when the assault took place. Officers believe the man pictured could have information that may assist their inquiries. The images were issued by BTP on August 31, 2026, as part of the ongoing investigation.
BTP is appealing for anyone who recognises the man to come forward. The force has asked witnesses or anyone with information to text 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 593 of 7 August.
Appeal for information
Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. BTP has not yet made any arrests in connection with the incident, and the investigation remains ongoing.
The appeal follows the release of CCTV stills showing a man believed to have information relevant to the case. Police have not disclosed further details about the victim or the exact nature of the assault.
