A 13-year-old boy is among nine people arrested after a burglary at a car wash in Croydon during the early hours of Monday, August 24. Police were called to Best Hand Car Wash in Beddington Lane at 2.45am following reports of an ongoing incident.
Nine males arrested at the scene
Officers arrested nine males, aged between 13 and 21, at the scene on suspicion of aggravated burglary and possession of an offensive weapon. One of the men, aged 21, was also arrested on suspicion of theft of a vehicle. The group have all been bailed while police enquiries continue.
The car wash, located near Beddington Park, has been cordoned off since Monday morning. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that no injuries were reported during the incident.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "Police were called to reports of an aggravated burglary at 2.45am on Monday, August 24 at a business premises on Beddington Lane, Sutton. Nine males, aged between 13 and 21, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of aggravated burglary and possession of an offensive weapon. One of the men, aged 21, was also arrested on suspicion of theft of a vehicle."
