Two men were rushed to hospital after being stabbed in a brawl on a North London street in the early hours of Saturday morning. Emergency services were called to Islington's Upper Street at around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, following reports of a fight.
London Ambulance Service attended the scene and treated two men, aged 23 and 24, who had sustained stab wounds. They were transported to hospital, where their injuries were assessed as neither life-threatening nor life-changing. The investigation remains ongoing, and a police cordon was visible at the scene on Saturday. No arrests have been made so far.
Police Appeal for Information
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to reports of a fight on Upper Street, Islington at 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, 16 May. Two men, aged 23 and 24, were found with stab wounds and taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service. None of their injuries were deemed to be life-threatening or life-changing."
Authorities are urging anyone with information that could assist the investigation to contact police on 101, quoting reference CAD 1011/16May. Alternatively, individuals can provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
