Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) has made a devastating discovery about his dead mother in Emmerdale. The youngster learned that Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) protects the man who killed his mum, Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson).
Kyle's Troubled Behavior
Kyle has been struggling with his emotions in recent weeks, attempting to deal with them by setting fires on Emmerdale Farm. His secret was discovered by Graham, who spotted smoke after Kyle set fire to his car. When Kyle ranted about Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) taking his home and how awful he felt about his father Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) getting cancer, Graham felt sorry for him and decided to help.
Graham's Mentorship
Graham became a mentor to Kyle, signing him up for the cadets and giving advice on processing difficult thoughts and feelings. The watch Graham gave Kyle became a topic of conversation in today's episode. Cain confronted his son about the watch, believing it was stolen. Kyle confirmed Graham gave it to him, leaving Cain and Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) confused.
Cain headed to Home Farm to find answers. There, Graham revealed he had been helping Kyle because he recognized the boy was troubled. Cain focused on why Graham randomly decided to look out for Kyle and sensed Graham was hiding something. Graham then told Cain about Kyle's fire-starting. Cain failed to keep his anger in check when Kyle said Graham had been supportive.
The Limo Crash Disaster
Cain put his foot down, stating Kyle wouldn't see Graham anymore. Curious, Kyle asked why, and Cain revealed that Graham protects the man who killed his mum. Amy Wyatt was one of three women who died in the limo crash disaster in 2025. On a cold February evening, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) was driving a limo full of female residents and Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson). She swerved to avoid Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) staggering in the road, causing the limo to crash on a frozen lake.
The residents couldn't cross the ice immediately due to Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough) sustaining a fatal head injury. The group carefully made their way across, but Amy fell through the ice and briefly became trapped. She suffered severe hypothermia and later died in hospital. The third victim was Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi), who also died in hospital from injuries sustained in the crash.
Noah's Role
In the aftermath, Noah believed the crash was his fault. It was revealed he had been drugged and kidnapped by his brother Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) and dodgy surgeon Doctor Crowley, who were seeking a blood match for Joe's kidney transplant. They took Noah to a private hospital but learned he wasn't a match, then dumped him at the side of the road, leading to the moment he walked in front of Charity's limo.
In future episodes, Kyle will head to Home Farm to get answers from Joe about Amy's death. Cain's inability to control his anger has made the situation worse, raising questions about his relationship with Kyle.
