Three Church of England primary schools are the most in demand by pupils and parents in the borough of Camden. Hampstead Parochial School and Christchurch C of E Primary - both in Hampstead Village - came first and second in the number of applications for places for entry this September.
The figures, supplied by online education site SchoolFacts (schoolfacts.uk), showed the top six most over-subscribed primary schools were all one form entry with 30 or fewer places available to start in reception. All six of the Church of England schools in the top ten prioritise places for parents who worship at the relevant church associated with the school.
Top Schools by Application Numbers
Parents in Camden can apply for up to six schools for a reception place in order of preference, including schools both inside and outside the borough.
