Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has announced the birth of his first child with wife Hanni Treweek, a baby girl named Constance Ita Shepherd. The couple shared the news on Instagram, posting photos of their newborn and describing her arrival as 'born peacefully at home, surrounded by love'.

Jack, 38, who plays David Platt on the long-running ITV soap, already has three children from previous relationships: two boys and a girl. This is the first child for Hanni, 37, a former storyliner on Coronation Street where the couple met. They tied the knot last year.

Jack is also father to a daughter and son from his relationship with Lauren Shippey, which ended in 2017. He also has a son with Sammy Milewski, for whom he pays child support after a paternity test.
