Zayn Malik has canceled all his 2026 US tour dates, just weeks after being hospitalized for an unspecified illness. The former One Direction star, now 33, was scheduled to tour in support of his album Konnakol.
Instagram Announcement
In a post on his Instagram story, Malik wrote: 'To my fans: Thank you so much for all the support and love you’ve shown me on the album release and more importantly your love, prayers, and well wishes for my health. I’ve felt it, and it’s meant the world. I’ve been at home recovering and I’m doing well and will be better and stronger than before.'
He continued: 'I’ve had to take another look at my schedule for the months ahead and have to reduce the number of shows on the KONNAKOL Tour. I want to make sure I still get out and see as many of you as I possibly can. I’m really looking forward to playing these shows for you, and I hope to see the rest of you around the world very soon. Big Love, Z.'
Health Details Remain Private
Details about his illness have not been disclosed. The singer linked to his website on Instagram, where an update read: 'The updated KONNAKOL Tour 2026 schedule below reflects recent changes to the U.S. and European dates. All current tickets will remain valid for the new Manchester date.'
For other shows, refunds will be issued automatically for tickets purchased through Ticketmaster. Those who bought from third-party resellers such as StubHub, SeatGeek, or VividSeats were advised to contact their point of purchase.
Previous Hospitalization
On April 17, Malik shared a photo from a hospital bed, thanking fans for their 'love and support' during what he described as a 'long week.' He said he was 'unexpectedly recovering' and 'heartbroken' about missing his fans. The Pillowtalk singer had already canceled a listening and Q&A session for his new album on April 13.
This is a developing story. More updates will follow as information becomes available.
