Fan reaction to the announcement
In a video clip announcing the dates, each member of the group is approached by two men in suits and sunglasses before the words “The Legacy Tour” appear on screen. In an Instagram clip teasing the tour, many fans were quick to celebrate the news. One wrote: “Been a fan since the early days just knew there was a comeback happening.” Another wrote: “This is iconic.”
N-Dubz’s musical journey and reunion
Founded in Camden, north London, in 2000, N-Dubz found fame with their 2008 debut album Uncle B, which they followed with Against All Odds (2009) and Love.Live.Life (2010). The group then took a break, during which time Tulisa became a judge on The X Factor and Dappy appeared on Celebrity Big Brother. They reunited in 2022, releasing their fourth album Timeless, and embarked on their Back To The Future Tour.
The group was masterminded and managed by Dappy’s father, Byron Contostavlos, a former bass player for the 1970s band Mungo Jerry. He recognised their talent, put them in recording studios, and steered them away from trouble. Byron passed away on 12 April 2007, just as the band was on the cusp of mainstream success. In his honour, N-Dubz named their platinum-selling 2008 debut studio album Uncle B.
The Legacy Tour marks another chapter for the group, offering fans across the UK the chance to see them live in arenas once again, with tickets expected to be in high demand given the enthusiastic response to the announcement.
