Amazon Prime Video has announced the cast for its upcoming Halloween special of Last One Laughing, featuring two returning contestants from the first series. The special, hosted by Jimmy Carr and Roisin Conaty, will add a spooky twist to the show's usual no-laughing rule, as the comedians will also be forbidden from screaming.
Cast Revealed for Spooky Special
The lineup includes Jack Dee, Daisy May Cooper, Phil Wang, Lou Sanders, Reece Shearsmith, Harriet Dyer, and Tom Allen. According to Amazon, the special will feature 'cursed props, ghostly interruptions and spine-tingling surprises' designed to test the comedians' composure.
Jack Dee, known for his deadpan delivery and gloomy persona, is expected to be a tough opponent. Daisy May Cooper, who was the fifth contestant eliminated in series one, returns for another chance at victory. Phil Wang, a regular on panel shows, brings his comedic timing, while Lou Sanders, who finished fourth in series one, aims to improve her standing.
Returning Favorites and Newcomers
Reece Shearsmith, co-creator of Inside No. 9, adds a fittingly eerie presence to the Halloween theme. Harriet Dyer, an award-winning comedian, and Tom Allen, a versatile performer, round out the cast. Allen's experience spans numerous panel shows and presenting roles.
The special will be released globally on Prime Video on October 23 with the first three episodes, followed by the final episode on October 30. Series one and two of Last One Laughing UK are currently available to stream on Prime Video.
