The puzzle follows normal sudoku rules, but with a twist: the numbers in the cells contained within dotted lines must add up to the figures shown in the corner. Additionally, no number can be repeated within each shape formed by the dotted lines.
To see the completed puzzle, purchase the next issue of the Guardian (for puzzles published Monday to Thursday). Solutions for Friday and Saturday puzzles are provided in either Saturday's or Monday's edition.
