Gillian Anderson has returned to her iconic role as Dana Scully to promote a new Lego set based on the 90s TV sensation The X-Files. The set, part of the Lego Ideas line, features eight minifigures and a detailed build of Mulder's office alongside a UFO hovering over a forest clearing.
Fan-Designed Set Gets Official Release
The Lego Ideas line allows fan designs to be voted on by the community, with the most popular ones becoming official products. The X-Files set is the result of this process, offering a highly detailed replica of Mulder's office filled with Easter eggs such as the iconic 'I Want to Believe' poster, uneaten sunflower seeds, an X-Files dossier, and pencils stuck to the ceiling.
The set includes eight minifigures: Fox Mulder, Dana Scully, Walter Skinner, Mr X, Alex Krycek, Carl Busch (Cigarette Smoking Man), The Flukeman, and a grey alien. According to Lego, this is a substantial number of figures for a set of this type.
Gillian Anderson's Endorsement
Anderson, who previously stated she was done with The X-Files, reprised her role for a promotional video. She expressed her enthusiasm, saying: 'It has been so much fun revisiting that world all these years later. This set is a wonderful celebration of the X-Files, and the fans who have kept its mystery alive. The level of detail is brilliant – there are so many little nods that fans will absolutely recognise – and as a Lego fan myself, I love that people can now quite literally build their own X-Files moments at home.'

The set, numbered 21369, consists of 1,478 Lego pieces and measures 23cm wide, 30cm high, and 23cm deep in its default arrangement.
