Two More EastEnders Exits: Ravi and Patrick Depart Walford
EastEnders: Ravi and Patrick Leave Walford in Double Exit

Two more beloved EastEnders characters have said goodbye to Walford, following a week of emotional departures. Just days after Julie Bates and Sam and Grant Mitchell left the Square, Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) and Patrick Truman (Rudolph Walker) have departed as part of separate storylines on Thursday (May 28).

Ravi Gulati's Departure

Ravi, who was sectioned last month after contemplating suicide and diagnosed with complex PTSD, ended his relationship with Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy). During his treatment, he wrote her a letter explaining he was letting her go. When he returned to the Square this week, Priya assumed they were back together after a night of intimacy, but Ravi revealed he thought she had read his letter. Heartbroken, Priya watched as Ravi packed his bags and left. It remains unclear if this is a permanent exit.

Patrick Truman's Temporary Goodbye

Patrick decided to take time away from Walford to visit his grandchildren in Scotland after learning they were struggling following the death of his son, Anthony (Nicholas Bailey). Before leaving, he offered relationship advice to Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw), who was unsure about marrying Vicki Fowler after her fling with Zack Hudson. Thanks to Patrick's wisdom, Ross reconsidered. Fans need not worry, as Patrick appeared in a flashforward episode set in 2027, confirming his return.

Denise Fox (Diane Parish) will need Patrick's support after receiving a blood cancer diagnosis, which has left her shaken. EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One or streams from 6am on BBC iPlayer.
