12 Best Indie Music Venues in London

London is one of the world's greatest cities for live music, and Time Out's new list of the UK's greatest independent music venues confirms it. Of the 42 venues on the list, 12 are in the capital, ranging from a 700-year-old pub to a Victorian Gothic church and a working men's club. The list was compiled by James Balmont of indie rock band Swim Deep, with input from peers like Simon Raymonde of Cocteau Twins and Suren de Saram of Bombay Bicycle Club.
