Top Restaurant: Camille
Borough Market bistro Camille has been crowned the number one restaurant in London for 2026. Food and drink editor Leonie Cooper described the experience as 'basically a religious experience,' praising chef Elliot Hashtroudi's menu as 'a triumph of imagination, talent, and guts.'
Central London Highlights
Central London boasts a cluster of top eateries, including this year's bronze medalist, Farringdon's St John. In Soho, diners can find Govinda's, Osteria Vibrato, and Quo Vadis.
Hackney and East London
Hackney emerged as a hub for top-tier restaurants, with Italian trattoria Tiella taking second place. Other notable spots include Koya Ko, Café Cecilia, and Miga.
West London: Notting Hill to Chelsea
West London representatives include Canteen and Akub in Notting Hill, The Lavery in South Kensington, and Martino's in Chelsea. Homespun Malaysian spot Normah's in Queensway secured fifth place despite facing closure.
South London: Peckham and Lambeth
South London's finest include Peckham's Levan, 2210 by NattyCanCook in Herne Hill, Kokum in Dulwich, and Doma in Sydenham.
North and East London: Stoke Newington to Chingford
Neighborhoods from the northeast to Chingford also feature prominently, with Turnpike Lane's Durak Tantuni in the top 20. Other entries include Stoke Newington's Rasa, Chingford's Gina, and Chuku's in Tottenham.
