Martin Kemp Axed from I'm A Celebrity After 20 Days in the Jungle
Martin Kemp Sixth to Leave I'm A Celebrity 2025

In a dramatic jungle eviction, Martin Kemp has become the sixth celebrity to be voted off ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! The Spandau Ballet star's exit was confirmed during Thursday night's episode, broadcast on December 4, 2025.

Emotional Farewell After 20 Days

The tense elimination saw Martin and actress Lisa Riley land in the bottom two, with the public vote ultimately sending the 63-year-old musician home. Having spent 20 days in the Australian jungle, Kemp admitted to hosts Ant and Dec that he felt his journey was complete.

His departure prompted emotional goodbyes from his campmates, many of whom viewed him as a father figure. In a touching moment, fellow contestant Shona even bid him farewell with the words, 'Bye Dad!' Kemp later revealed he is backing Shona to win the entire series.

A Narrow Escape for Lisa Riley

The result marks a third consecutive narrow escape for Lisa Riley, who has found herself in the dreaded bottom two for three eliminations in a row. Her continued survival adds another layer of suspense as the competition edges closer to its finale.

Kemp's exit follows the earlier departure of comedian Ruby Wax, whose elimination on Wednesday left the camp 'gobsmacked'. Fellow contestant Ginge was visibly upset, stating he was 'absolutely gutted' to see her go.

Family Reunion and Future Plans

The most poignant scene unfolded at the end of the famous rope bridge, where Martin was reunited with his wife, Shirley. The emotional embrace saw Shirley wipe away tears as they were finally together after his long stint in camp.

Speaking after his exit, Kemp also expressed his eagerness to see his son, radio presenter Roman Kemp, who himself finished in third place on the show in 2019. Martin joins a growing list of eliminated celebrities, including Alex Scott, Eddie Kadi, Vogue Williams, and Ruby Wax.

I'm A Celebrity continues nightly at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
