London's exclusive Annabel's private members' club has once again transformed its Berkeley Square home with a breathtaking Christmas installation for 2025, drawing direct inspiration from C.S. Lewis's beloved classic, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
A Wardrobe to Winter Wonderland
The spectacular festive façade, unveiled on 19th November 2025, features an ornate, oversized wardrobe entrance that opens onto a magical winter scene. Visitors are treated to a vision of snow-dusted trees, shimmering icicles, and a striking porcelain-like lion standing guard at the centre, creating the immediate sensation of stepping directly into the mythical land of Narnia.
Designed by Tatiana Kharchylava, Creative Director of The Birley Clubs, the installation aims to celebrate "light in the darkness" and draws upon the concept that children embody hope and resilience. Kharchylava explained her vision was to recreate that childhood feeling when the world seemed full of endless possibility and light.
A Celebrity Switch-On for Charity
The grand reveal attracted crowds to Berkeley Square for a celebratory switch-on event. The occasion was marked by a heartwarming performance from Alexandra Burke and the Capital Children's Choir.
Inside the club, celebrations continued with guests enjoying festive Johnnie Walker Black Ruby cocktails and a seasonal dinner hosted in partnership with Perrier-Jouët. The prestigious guest list included:
- Richard and Patricia Caring
- Arizona Muse
- Freddy Carter
- Lydia West
- Julia Restoin Roitfeld
- Amber Le Bon
This year's incredible display has been created in support of The Caring Family Foundation’s Food From The Heart campaign.
Fundraising with Festive Flair
Throughout the festive season, Annabel's will host a series of fundraising events to support The Caring Family Foundation (TCFF). The charity's Food From The Heart programme has provided a remarkable more than 3.5 million meals to families in need since its launch in 2020. Impressively, over one million of these meals were distributed in the past year alone.
This annual tradition at the Mayfair club continues to blend high-concept design with meaningful charitable work, ensuring the magic of Christmas reaches far beyond its famous doors.
