Strictly Come Dancing Shocker: Actor Eddie Kadi Becomes Sixth Celebrity Eliminated After Tense Dance-Off
Strictly: Eddie Kadi eliminated in Week 6 dance-off

The glitterball dimmed for another couple on Sunday night's Strictly Come Dancing results show, as actor and comedian Eddie Kadi became the sixth celebrity to leave the competition.

In a tense dance-off that had viewers on the edge of their seats, Eddie and his professional partner Karen Hauer faced Love Island star Zara McDermott and Graziano Di Prima. Both couples performed their routines again, but it was Eddie's time to bow out of the competition.

The Judges' Verdict

Head judge Shirley Ballas cast the deciding vote after her fellow judges were split. Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse both chose to save Zara and Graziano, while Anton Du Beke opted to keep Eddie and Karen in the competition.

"This is always such a difficult decision," Shirley explained. "Both couples upped their game from Saturday night, but for me, the couple I would like to save, based on better footwork and a more polished performance, is Zara and Graziano."

A Gracious Exit

Eddie remained positive about his Strictly experience, telling host Tess Daly: "It's been incredible. I've loved every single minute of it. To be here, week six, I'm so grateful."

The comedian paid special tribute to his professional partner, saying: "Karen, you are a powerhouse. You are an incredible teacher, an incredible human being, and I'm so grateful that I got to share this experience with you."

Karen responded emotionally: "You came in here with so much joy and so much positive energy. You've made me laugh every single day, and I'm just so proud of you."

What's Next for Strictly?

The competition continues to heat up as we approach the halfway mark. With Eddie's departure, thirteen couples remain in the running for the coveted Glitterball Trophy. The pressure mounts as the remaining celebrities must master increasingly complex routines and face the dreaded dance-off.

Strictly Come Dancing returns next Saturday on BBC One, where the remaining couples will take to the floor once again, hoping to impress both the judges and the voting public.
