Ruby Wax Names I'm A Celebrity Stars with 'Huge Egos' After Jungle Exit
Ruby Wax reveals I'm A Celeb stars with 'biggest egos'

Just days after her departure from the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! jungle, veteran TV presenter Ruby Wax has wasted no time in sharing her unfiltered take on the campmates she left behind.

Spilling the Beans on Camp Egos

The 72-year-old, who became the fifth celebrity to be voted out on Wednesday night, revealed in a new podcast interview which contestants she believes possess the most substantial egos. Speaking to podcast hosts Ally and G, Wax was asked about the most shocking revelations from her time on the ITV reality show.

She first discussed her newfound perspective on Angry Ginge, noting his surprising vulnerability. "Suddenly, he became quite vulnerable with his story. I like digging deep," she explained. She also praised rapper Aitch for his simple life goals, quoting him as wanting just "a dog and a wife and a kid."

"Their Egos Are Huge"

In her characteristically blunt style, Wax then added a more critical observation about the pair. "They're just boys who want a normal life and a wife. A wife who will probably cater to them, because their egos are huge," she stated. The interviewer and mental health campaigner didn't hold back, adding, "I took them down a few pegs."

Her early exit on December 6, 2025, reportedly left the camp in stunned silence, with audible gasps heard when her name was called. During her jungle treehouse interview with hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, it was highlighted how Wax had formed unlikely cross-generational friendships with the younger male contestants, even after discovering they had lied about sneaking extra milk rations.

Devastated by Departure

Despite her sharp tongue, Wax expressed clear affection for her fellow campmates and deep disappointment at leaving. She told This Morning she was "totally devastated" and felt "ripped from the womb." "I belong in that jungle. I want to go to my people," she said emotionally. "I didn't know I'd love those people more than most people I know. I should have won!"

Before her exit, Wax had already picked her winner. She told the podcast she was "sure" the victor would be Angry Ginge, calling him a "deserving winner" and even promising to bet money on his success. I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! continues on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player.
