EastEnders Spoilers: Major Split, Health Scare & Explosive Week Ahead
EastEnders Spoilers: Major Split & Health Scare Revealed

The residents of Albert Square are set for one of their most turbulent weeks yet, with a high-profile relationship breakdown, a dramatic return, and a life-altering health secret set to send shockwaves through the community.

Sam Mitchell's Chaotic Return and Health Bombshell

The week of Monday 8th December 2025 kicks off with the explosive return of Sam Mitchell, who immediately slips back into her old habits. She raids brother Phil's safe for cash, with Nigel mistakenly letting her walk out with the money after confusing her for Clare. Her presence doesn't go unnoticed for long.

Zoe, still reeling from her stalker ordeal, confronts Sam in the Square, accusing her of being behind the torment. Sam denies everything, but the fiery clash only heightens Zoe's fears and worries Kat. When Phil discovers the theft, he initially accuses Nicola, but soon pieces together the truth after spotting Sam in a tense exchange with Kat.

Sam's attempts to meet Ricky and then flee Walford are thwarted by Jack. Cornered, she drops a life-changing health secret: she has found a lump and is convinced it's cancer. By Tuesday 9th December, she breaks down to Jack, admitting she hasn't even booked a doctor's appointment. The news spreads quickly, with Denise attempting to broker a deal, but Sam has her own strategy. Desperate, she ends up begging Phil for a place to stay, prompting him to form a surprising 'Plan B'.

Family Crises and a Shocking Confession

Meanwhile, the Knight family is thrown into disarray. Nicola becomes increasingly anxious about son Harry, who begs her for money for drugs. She refuses, but George, trying to reassure Harry, accidentally reveals that Teddy plans to plead guilty. This sends Harry into a spiral, leading him to confess to George that he killed Okie.

George urges Harry to go to the police, but before he can, Nicola drops her own bombshell in a bid to stop him: she is pregnant with George's child. George reels from the news, seeking clarity from Honey, who reluctantly confirms it. While George and Nicola are out, a drug-addled Harry disappears, leaving a chilling note.

The drama culminates on Wednesday 10th December at Teddy's trial. Gina and George find Harry and convince him to attend court to support his father. Nicola is furious her plan is unravelling. After the verdict is delivered, Harry, overwhelmed, slips away to The Arches where he collapses from a drug overdose.
