Big Brother Australia Denies Claims Finale Was 'Manipulated' for Coco Beeby
Big Brother Australia denies finale manipulation claims

Production company Endemol Shine has issued a firm denial following explosive claims that the winner of Big Brother Australia 2025 was chosen with the alleged help of producers.

Allegations of Finale Manipulation

The popular reality series, which concluded on Channel 10 earlier this month, saw 30-year-old childcare worker Coco Beeby crowned the winner, taking home the grand prize of $135,000 (approximately £64,000). Primary school teacher Emily Dale finished as the runner-up.

However, insiders told outlet TV Blackbox that the December 8 final was not entirely as it seemed. Sources alleged that producers spoke to contestants off-camera, giving them conflicting information that ultimately shaped the outcome of the competition.

A key moment cited was when two other finalists, Allana and Bruce, decided to remove themselves from the main competition to battle for a separate $40,000 car prize. According to the claims, producers encouraged Allana and Bruce to pursue the car challenge in a conversation that was not recorded, while winner Coco was not given the same encouragement.

Production Company's Firm Denial

A spokesperson for Endemol Shine directly refuted these allegations when speaking to Metro, stating the claims were false. "Interactions in the diary room are limited to standard production, safety, and housemate welfare," the spokesperson said. They emphatically added, "The integrity of Big Brother and its results were never compromised."

Winner's Emotional Victory and Future Plans

Meanwhile, the newly crowned champion, Coco Beeby, has been celebrating her life-changing win. In a heartfelt social media video, the single mother dedicated her prize money to her children's future.

"Last year, we didn’t have any Christmas presents under the tree, there is going to be Christmas presents under the tree this year!" she exclaimed. Coco offered an inspiring message to other single parents, saying, "Your time isn’t up. Don’t think because you’re a parent, that it’s over... You are capable of doing incredible things and even more so cause you’re a parent."

Her post was flooded with supportive comments from fans, with one writing, "Wanted you to win from the start Coco!... Enjoy every dollar won, you deserve it!"

The finale also featured an emotional, tear-filled reunion on stage between Coco and her children, who she hugged tightly while thanking the Australian public for their votes. Big Brother Australia is available to catch up on Channel 10.
