Charlize Theron's daughters made a rare public appearance at the New York premiere of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, joining their mother alongside other cast members and their families.
Theron's teenage daughters step out
Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron, 50, brought her daughters Jackson, 14, and August, 12, to the event. While Theron walked the red carpet alone, she was photographed with her daughters on the streets of New York as they arrived. Jackson was adopted in 2012, and August in 2015. Theron has previously stated that adoption was always her first choice for building a family, telling People in 2018: "Even when I was in relationships, I was always honest with my partners, that adoption was how my family would look one day. This was definitely not a second option for me. It was always my first."
Theron wore a Christian Dior ivory blazer dress with a plunging neckline and statement bow, styling her blonde bob in a wet look and accessorising with a chunky gold choker. Jackson and August both wore black dresses, with August adding combat boots and knee-high socks.
Matt Damon's family also in attendance
Matt Damon, who plays Odysseus, attended with his wife Luciana and their 20-year-old daughter Isabella. Both are rarely seen in public. The trio posed on the red carpet, with Damon in a blue suit, white shirt and polka dot tie. Luciana wore a white bridal-style slip dress, while Isabella sported a monochrome floral dress with a lace neckline and black strappy heels. Damon and Luciana have four daughters: Isabella, Alexia (27, adopted by Damon after marrying Luciana in 2005), Gia (17) and Stella (15).
Zendaya and Tom Holland make stylish appearances
Zendaya, known for method dressing, wore a white Matières Fécale gown with feathery angel wings, accessorised with over 30 carats of Chopard jewellery. Her stylist Law Roach revealed the look was two years in the making. Zendaya, 29, recently confirmed her marriage to co-star Tom Holland, who also attended the premiere. Holland, 30, wore a black suit and plain tee, and joined the cast for a group photo.
Elliot Page and Anne Hathaway also present
Elliot Page attended with his girlfriend Julia Shiplett, posing arm in arm on the red carpet. Page wore an oversized navy suit and striped shirt, while Shiplett donned a chocolate-brown floor-length gown. The couple went public in June 2025. Anne Hathaway, who is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman, wore a halter chain dress with a pleated cream shirt. Hathaway, 43, announced her pregnancy in June. The couple married in 2012 and have two sons: Jonathan (born 2016) and Jack (born 2019).
