Katie Price's Foul-Mouthed Rant Over Myleene Klass's MBE Honour
Katie Price Lashes Out at Myleene Klass's MBE Award

Reality television personality Katie Price has unleashed a furious, expletive-filled tirade against fellow celebrity Myleene Klass, specifically targeting the MBE honour Klass received from King Charles earlier this year.

A Scathing Public Attack

In a candid new interview with Closer UK, the 47-year-old former model did not hold back her feelings about the former Hear'Say singer's royal recognition. Price questioned the legitimacy of the award, which was granted to Klass for her significant campaigning work in women's health.

'I'm not against this for her, but why the f**k has Myleene Klass got an MBE? For playing the classical piano?' Price was quoted as saying. She went further, alleging widespread corruption within the industry. 'This industry is so corrupt,' she stated. 'They have the same managers, they're all clones – they all win MBEs and are fronting TV. But behind the scenes, they're worse than we are. Turds are what they are!'

The Reason Behind the Honour

Contrary to Price's insinuation about 'playing the classical piano', Myleene Klass, 47, was awarded her MBE for her dedicated and public advocacy surrounding miscarriages. Klass has been open about her personal experience of suffering four miscarriages, using her platform to campaign for greater awareness and changes in policy and support.

Following the investiture ceremony, Klass shared her joy on Instagram, posting: 'Today I received my MBE for services to Women's Health, Miscarriage Awareness and to charity. I am utterly overjoyed and humbled.' She poignantly added that having her family there, including her 'rainbow baby boy', made the occasion 'extra magical in what has at times been a very dark journey for us all.'

She also revealed that she spoke directly with King Charles about bereavement leave and the need to change rules regarding medical intervention following a pregnancy loss.

An Unplanned Path to Advocacy

Appearing on the Paul C Brunson podcast, 'We Need To Talk', earlier this year, Klass explained that she never intended to become a campaigner. She described the profound impact of her multiple miscarriages, noting that the second was 'worse than the first'.

'I didn't plan on campaigning when I was lying in that bed,' she confessed. 'By three and four I was tail spinning. I didn't even know who I was. I was just hell bent on trying to keep a baby but didn't know how to.' Her advocacy grew from a place of personal trauma and a desire to help others facing similar pain.

Price on Friendship and Trust

Elsewhere in her interview with Closer, Katie Price opened up about her personal struggles with trust and friendship. She admitted to having significant trust issues, describing her world as 'sad' and 'lonely' at times.

'You question the friendships – why are they actually your friend? There are a lot of trust issues,' she said. Price revealed that after a personal breakdown, she made a conscious decision to remove anyone from her life she had doubts about. 'It's just the best thing I ever did,' she stated, noting that she now relies on a small, trusted circle of friends, such as fellow reality star Kerry Katona.
