Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 Release Guide

Everything You Need to Know About Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7

The gaming world is abuzz as Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 prepares for its global launch this week. Developer Treyarch has been on a tight schedule, following up last year's entry with this new instalment, which is positioned as a direct sequel to the beloved 2012's Black Ops 2. This year's release is set against a backdrop of increased competition, with Battlefield 6 having launched last month to strong sales, alongside the emergence of Arc Raiders.

Launch Schedule and Platform Availability

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 officially launches on Friday, November 14, 2025. However, the exact moment you can start playing depends on your platform. For console gamers on PlayStation and Xbox, the game unlocks at midnight local time. PC players, however, will need to wait a little longer, with access granted from 5am GMT.

In a significant move for the franchise, the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one. Console players will require a Game Pass Ultimate subscription (£22.99 per month), while PC gamers can jump in with the more affordable PC Game Pass (£13.49 per month).

Pricing, Editions, and Multiplayer Maps

For those who prefer to own their copy outright, Black Ops 7 is priced at £69.99 across all platforms. Console purchases are cross-gen bundles, meaning you get both the last-gen and current-gen versions. There is also a premium Vault Edition for £99.99, which bundles in extra cosmetics, the first season's battle pass, and 20 tier skips.

Activision is continuing its cross-generation support, so the game is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Despite previous speculation, there is no version for Nintendo Switch or its successor.

Multiplayer fans have a lot to look forward to, with 18 maps available at launch. The lineup includes several remastered favourites from Black Ops 2, such as Express, Hijacked, and Raid. The full list of maps is:
