First introduced to the UK market in 2015 as a limited-edition product to gauge consumer interest, Kinder Bueno Dark proved sufficiently popular to warrant a permanent relaunch the following year. The full-size bar remained available for several years before manufacturer Ferrero, which owns the Kinder brand, ultimately discontinued production in 2019.

While the dark chocolate bars have been appearing in physical Tesco stores across the country, they are not currently listed on the Tesco GB website. However, shoppers can find them on Tesco Ireland's online platform priced at €1.70, approximately £1.47. This suggests the product may be gradually rolling out across different markets and platforms.

Throughout its absence, smaller versions of the dark Bueno remained accessible within Kinder Bueno Mini Mix multipacks, offering a glimpse of what dedicated fans had been missing. The distinctive treat features the same smooth, milky hazelnut filling encased in delicate wafer that characterises the Kinder Bueno range, but with the crucial difference of being enveloped in rich dark chocolate rather than the standard milk or white varieties.

Marks & Spencer has reintroduced its Speckled Eggs ahead of Easter, accompanied by Speckled Egg Cookies, following what the retailer describes as 'overwhelming demand' from customers. Additionally, Cadbury's sharing bar range has returned to shops with twelve different varieties now available.
