Oasis fans attending the band's four Knebworth concerts in September 2027 will be able to purchase special £10 train tickets back to London King's Cross after each show, organisers have announced. The move comes as promoters warn fans against driving to the Hertfordshire venue, with a new direct rail service from Stevenage Station running after every concert.
Train and coach travel plans revealed
Rob Ballantine, promoter for Oasis, confirmed the travel arrangements, saying: "Oasis have challenged us to make Oasis Live '27 at Knebworth the best possible fan experience - this is our goal. Working with Great British Rail we have trains running from Stevenage direct to London King's Cross after every show until 01:30am, with train tickets at £10. We will also have the largest coach service for any cultural event in the UK."
The direct train service will take approximately 30 minutes, running from 11:30pm to 1:30am after each show. Tickets will be capped at £10 exclusively for concert goers, and the train ticket will be one way, meaning fans must arrange their own route to Knebworth. A stewarded, lit pedestrianised route will guide fans from the concert site to Stevenage Station.
Coach services from 120 locations
Coach return travel routes will operate from over 120 locations across the UK, with fans able to choose from three coach ticket zones via Ticketmaster. Coaches will drop fans off a five minute walk from the arena, and after the concert, fans have one hour to board their return coach with food outlets, bars and toilets remaining open for coach travellers. This is anticipated to be the biggest movement of fans by coach to a single live event ever seen in the UK.
Mr Ballantine added: "Customers can avoid concert day travel altogether if they choose the campsite option for a Saturday show, arriving on Friday and enjoying the Campsite Village atmosphere, leaving on Sunday morning after the Saturday concert."
Campsite Village and grandstand options
In another first for Knebworth, an independent purpose-built Campsite Village with its own dedicated car park and concert entrance will alleviate traffic congestion and queuing. Camping is available only for the Saturday 11th and 19th September shows, priced at £60 per person. This includes arrival the day before the concert, campsite car parking, a campsite pitch and direct walk-through access from the campsite to the arena, with late night entertainment staged on both Friday and Saturday nights.
Oasis promoters will also construct a grandstand at the rear of the arena, offering a reserved seat with a front view of the stage, open to the elements and accessed via stairs. Toilets will be located immediately behind the grandstand, and a pedestrian bridge with steps will allow access to the Knebworth Gardens, where premium hospitality, food and drink will be available. In front of the grandstand will be the largest accessible viewing platform ever constructed at Knebworth, accessed by ramps with a direct front facing view of the stage.
Ticket prices and registration details
Ticket prices for the Knebworth shows have been confirmed: £170.50 for general admission and £203.50 for front standing, including fees. The Front Standing area will be divided into two sections with a crowd barrier for health and safety reasons, with the area closest to the stage filled first and dedicated wristbands provided at point of entry. Coach package prices range from £239.50 to £292.50 including fees, while VIP package prices are available at £317.50, £508.50 and £513.50 including fees.
There will be no general sale for tickets. Fans must register before 4pm on Thursday, September 17 at www.oasisinet.com. Successful registrants will be sent a unique, non-transferrable code to access an allocated onsale time, with sale windows taking place on Friday, September 25, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th, with three onsale windows on each day.
Oasis will return to Knebworth more than 30 years after their legendary gigs at the Hertfordshire park, as part of their 38-show Live 2027 world tour. Liam and Noel Gallagher will perform four nights at Knebworth Park on September 11, 12, 18, and 19, with special guest Richard Ashcroft supporting, who was also on the line up for their 2025 reunion shows. The band played two fan favourite concerts at the venue on August 10 and 11 in 1996 to an audience of more than 100,000 each night.
