Wood Green Stabbing: Man Rushed to Hospital After Attack

A man has been rushed to a major trauma centre following a stabbing on a busy Haringey high street in the early hours of this morning, May 19. The victim was discovered on High Road, near the Green Lanes area of Wood Green, shortly after 4am. Emergency services, including multiple paramedics and a trauma team from London's Air Ambulance, treated him for a single knife wound before transporting him to a specialist trauma facility. His current condition remains unknown.

High Road is currently closed in both directions between Arcadian Gardens and Lyndhurst Road, with a police cordon established in front of a Tesco Express supermarket. Transport for London has confirmed that four bus routes are being diverted away from the scene to avoid the disruption. The Metropolitan Police has been contacted for further details on the incident.
