Walkers Reveals Two New Crisp Flavours for Summer 2026

Walkers is launching two new crisp flavours as part of its Do Us A Flavour campaign, with the finalists being Salt & Pepper Chicken and Grilled Cheese & Chilli Jam. The winning flavour will become a permanent addition to the Walkers range, and its creator will receive a cash prize of up to £500,000.

Flavour Inspirations and Creators

The Salt & Pepper Chicken flavour, inspired by takeaway cuisine, combines garlic, spring onion, black pepper, and aromatic Chinese-inspired spices. It was created by Lydia Houghton from Malmesbury. In her submission video on TikTok, she described the crisps as 'delicious chicken-flavoured crisps, perfectly seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, chilli, and onion. Packed with flavour, right to the bottom of the bag.'

The Grilled Cheese & Chilli Jam flavour brings together the rich taste of melted cheese with a sweet and spicy chilli jam twist. It was conceived by Becky Dibble, who explained: 'I think the balance of sweet, salty, and spicy will go so well in a crisp flavour.'

Campaign and Voting Process

Both flavours are available as limited-edition crisps in supermarkets later this summer. Each pack sold counts as a vote, determining which flavour becomes a permanent part of the Walkers core range. The flavours were featured in a TikTok series over six weeks, highlighting six of the best submissions, with finalists championed by influencers GK Barry and Moyo Ajibade.
