Millie Bobby Brown has revealed her excitement for Grand Theft Auto 6, naming the series as her favourite video game of all time, but insists she plays as a law-abiding citizen, stopping at red lights and avoiding criminal activities.
Brown's Unconventional Playstyle
During a Q&A session on the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast, the 22-year-old actress was asked about her favourite video game. 'GTA… It’s a passion,' she answered, expressing enthusiasm for the upcoming GTA 6. However, Brown explained that she does not play the game in the traditional sense. 'I stop at the red lights, I never run anyone over… I’m like, I’m gonna go to the strip club but I’m not going to get drunk. I’m very, very good,' she said.
Brown role-plays as a vigilante rather than a hitman, allowing her to progress the story without breaking her self-imposed rules. Her husband, Jake Bongiovi, has teased her about this habit, questioning why she plays GTA like it's The Sims.
Celebrity Excitement for GTA 6
Brown joins other celebrities like F1 champion Lewis Hamilton, who said last year he would cancel work plans for GTA 6. The game is expected to sell extremely well, with reported pre-order figures indicating high demand despite the lack of a physical release.
Brown's Gaming Connections
Brown was made a Sims ambassador in 2018 and was added to The Sims 4 as a character. Her Stranger Things character, Eleven, has appeared in Fortnite and Dead By Daylight, though Brown did not voice her in those games. Given her public love for GTA, Rockstar may consider securing her for a cameo in GTA Online or GTA 6's online mode, following previous celebrity appearances by Cara Delevingne, Kenny Loggins, and Dr Dre.
