McDonald's has confirmed a major shake-up of its UK menu, introducing two new permanent burgers alongside a host of limited-edition returns. The fast-food giant announced that from Tuesday, April 28, customers will be able to order the Spicy McCrispy and the Cheese & Bacon McCrispy as permanent additions.
New Permanent McCrispy Variants
The Spicy McCrispy features a chicken breast in a crunchy coating, topped with iceberg lettuce and a creamy spicy mayo with a chilli kick, all served in a sourdough-style sesame-topped bun. It costs £5.99 on its own or £7.49 as part of a medium meal. The Cheese & Bacon McCrispy pairs the same crispy chicken with black pepper mayo, cheese, bacon, and iceberg lettuce in the same bun, priced at £7.09 alone or £8.59 for a medium meal. A new Spicy Mayo dip will also be available for 60p, recommended with Chicken Selects or even hash browns at breakfast.
Limited-Edition Returns
Alongside the permanent additions, several fan favorites are returning for six weeks only. The Big Tasty and Double Big Tasty burgers are back, along with Mozzarella Dippers with salsa dip. For breakfast, the Sausage & Egg McMuffin and Breakfast Wrap get a Frank's RedHot Ketchup version. On the sweet side, the Biscoff McFlurry returns after a year, joined by the Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry. The viral Frozen Cherry Lemonade from 2025 is back, as is the Chocolate Honeycomb Frappe. New Sprite Zero Mixology drinks include Raspberry and Pineapple flavors.
All items launch nationwide on April 28. The regular McCrispy remains on the menu at £5.99.
