What is Changing?

The Wrap of the Day offer, which provided a discounted price on a specific wrap each day, will be discontinued. From July 14, it will be replaced by a promotion called 'Get Any Wrap in the App'. This new deal allows customers to choose any wrap for £2.49, but it is only available through the McDonald's app. Additionally, the offer can be used once per day between 11am and 11pm. Customers ordering in-store without the app will have to pay full price, which ranges from £4 to £6.

A McDonald's spokesperson explained the rationale behind the change: 'Our Wrap of the Day offer gives our customers exceptional value every day. We are always listening to feedback, and customers told us they want more choice, which is why we're refreshing the offer to make it even better. From July 14, our new Get Any Wrap in the App offer will enable customers to redeem any wrap for £2.49, any day of the week, on the McDonald's App.' They added that moving the deal to the app provides customers with more flexibility.

The announcement has drawn criticism from some fans. On Reddit, users described the changes as 'annoying', with one calling the app a 'complete nightmare' to use. Others expressed frustration over the earlier price increase from £1.99 to £2.49 earlier in 2026. One user questioned, 'It's not even £1.99 anymore, so what's the point?' Another said they stopped buying when the price rose. On TikTok, some customers vowed to stop visiting McDonald's altogether, while others welcomed the ability to choose any wrap and preferred using the app.
