Katie Price's husband Lee Andrews falsely claims EastEnders cameo role
Lee Andrews claims EastEnders cameo, denied by BBC

Lee Andrews, the husband of former glamour model Katie Price, has claimed he will soon appear on the BBC soap EastEnders. In a Cameo video filmed in Dubai, where he is currently under a travel ban, Andrews stated he has a 'little cameo' lined up for the show and is trying to get Katie Price involved as well.

Claims of EastEnders cameo denied by BBC source

In the clip, shared by The Sun, Andrews said: 'Between you and me, I’ve got a little cameo coming on EastEnders. I’m trying to get Kate on there as well. I’ve been speaking with the BBC casting director. I’ve got some projects lined up. Let me get to England, let’s do it. Me in the Queen Vic, you know, “Get out of my pub”, I’ll do it.' However, Metro has confirmed that these claims are false. An EastEnders source told Metro: 'There are no plans for Lee Andrews to appear.'

Andrews under travel ban, unable to leave Dubai

Andrews has not set foot in the UK since marrying Katie Price in January 2026, days after they met. He is reportedly banned from leaving Dubai due to a criminal investigation. According to reports, he served time in Dubai’s Al Awir central prison for suspected fraud, including allegedly taking out a £200,000 mortgage in his ex-girlfriend's name without her knowledge. The UAE bans individuals facing criminal investigations from leaving the country. Andrews denied the ban initially, but Katie later confirmed it.

Previous controversies and accusations

Since marrying Katie Price, Andrews has faced multiple accusations. He claimed to be a multi-millionaire CEO of Aura Group Future Urban Travel 2027 and an investor in SpaceX Hybrid Fitness, but his profile was later exposed as a farce, with AI-generated photos and no verifiable company information. Two of his exes accused him of being a 'liar, narcissist and manipulator', and reports emerged that he begged women for money weeks before his wedding. His ex Alana called him the 'Tinder Swindler' on Instagram, claiming multiple women had been scammed.

Claims of adopting Katie's children

A few days before the EastEnders claim, Andrews stated he has adopted Katie's five children. In another Cameo video, he said: 'I haven’t got children, but we’re trying. I’ve adopted five of them. I love my wife, and I love her children.' Katie has children from previous relationships, including Princess (18) and Junior (21) with singer Peter Andre, and three others from later marriages.

Ghosting and financial troubles

Last week, Katie reported Andrews as a missing person after he failed to return to the UK. However, reports indicated he had 'ghosted' his wife and was 'squatting in a slightly run-down villa' in Dubai, using a burner phone. He is also offering personalized video messages on Cameo for £26+ to pay off debts.
