Gordon Ramsay Denies Dog Used Puppy Pad in Restaurant

Gordon Ramsay has dismissed allegations that a dog used a puppy pad in the middle of one of his London restaurants. Influencer Gizzelle Cade shared footage earlier this month showing a dog sitting on the floor at the celebrity chef's Street Pizza establishment in Battersea. The new mum, from LA, claims the dog relieved itself beside her table while they were dining.

Ramsay Responds to Claims

Gordon, 59, told TMZ that following examination of the restaurant's CCTV footage, the dog never used the puppy pad - branding the video "clickbait". Gizzelle states she visited the chain on May 1 to mark her two-month-old receiving a passport, but the family ended up leaving in anger without finishing their meal.

She said: "She was at the table right next to us. I think they had two dogs. I look up and see that there is a wee wee pad on the floor and a dog bowl on the table of the restaurant. Later I looked down and the wee pad was wet. The dog looked like it was in the position to relieve itself and doo doo."

She added: "I was completely turned off. I am disgusted at this point. Why is a dog peeing and pooping in a restaurant where people are eating."

Customer's Disappointment

The TikToker claims she requested staff address the situation, and ultimately the dog's owners were moved to a different table. However, Gizzelle believes staff ought to have offered an apology. She added: "I was very shocked and more so disappointed. I am someone who grew up watching Gordon Ramsay and I really enjoyed watching him even when he is screaming at people."

She added: "I know that he runs a very tight ship when it comes to restaurants. That is why I was so hyper-aware because to me it is a sin to bring something like that into his restaurant."

Gizzelle uploaded the encounter to TikTok, where the clip has since amassed more than 15 million views.

Ramsay Hits Back

However, Ramsay has hit back at the allegations, informing TMZ: "What we have seen is the CCTV footage and under no circumstances did that dog do a pee or a poo. Overexaggerated as always and clickbait."
