Giant star Jamie Bigg splits from OnlyFans girlfriend

Jamie Bigg, the star known as Giant on the BBC reboot of Gladiators, has reportedly split from his girlfriend Taylor Ryan, two months after his relationship with her cost him his role on the show. An insider told the Daily Mail that the couple have not ruled out getting back together, but Bigg needs to work on himself.

Breakup confirmed by source

The insider said: 'They haven't ruled out getting back together in the future, but Jamie knows he needs to work on himself right now.' Bigg, 40, is currently traveling alone in Spain, focusing on self-improvement.

Cryptic Instagram post

Bigg shared a cryptic Instagram post on Tuesday, writing: 'Lately, I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting. Not on what I’ve achieved, but on who I want to become. Right now, I’m doing what I find the hardest… I’m taking the time I need to work on myself. I’m spending time in my own busy brain trying to unpack and make sense of all the thoughts. I’m rebuilding routines, strengthening my mindset, improving my health, and gaining clarity on the man I want to be.'

Background of the Gladiators exit

Bigg confirmed his departure from Gladiators in April, claiming he was forced out because his girlfriend, Taylor Ryan, 25, is an OnlyFans creator. He told Metro: 'I made it clear that I was planning to go public with my relationship, including the fact that my partner works as an OnlyFans creator, and shortly after that, I was told I wouldn’t be continuing on Gladiators. It wasn’t something I expected, especially given the commitment I’ve shown to the role.' He added: 'I’ve always taken being in the public eye seriously, and I believe being a role model is about honesty as well as professionalism. For me, that means not hiding parts of who I am or the people I care about.'

Public appearances and future plans

Despite the split, Bigg and Ryan had previously appeared together on Good Morning Britain to show solidarity. Bigg has expressed a desire to continue working in television, telling The Sun: 'TV is something that I would very much like to continue. Having the flexibility and the ability to speak about more taboo subjects is something that moving forward, perhaps, can now happen.' He hinted at future projects but did not provide details, saying: 'There are a lot of things in the pipeline at the minute. It’s actually a very, very exciting time and I’m definitely looking forward to the future. I can’t divulge any information on particular shows or events, situations just yet.'
