BTS, the globally renowned K-pop boyband, is set to take over London with a series of pop-ups, light shows, and a Thames boat installation ahead of their first London concerts in seven years. The group will perform at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on July 6 and 7 as part of their ARIRANG World Tour.
BTS 'The City' London Activations
In addition to the two major shows, London will host a series of BTS-themed activations, collectively known as BTS The City ARIRANG London. These events will feature music, Korean culture, and fan experiences across multiple locations in the capital.
Exhibition at Korean Cultural Centre
Starting July 4, the Korean Cultural Centre on the Strand will host an exhibition of iconic stage outfits from BTS's historic Wembley performances. The event will also include music video screenings and photo zones, running until July 10. Visitors are advised to reserve their spots in advance.
London Eye Illumination
The London Eye will be illuminated in vivid ARIRANG red on July 6 from 9:30 PM to 11 PM, according to HYBE/BIGHIT MUSIC.
Thames River Boat
An ARIRANG-themed boat featuring a sculpture with the album's logo will sail down the Thames starting at 5 PM on July 6 and will remain visible until 2 AM.
Outernet Pop-Ups
From July 8 to July 10, Outernet will transform into a BTS fanzone, offering immersive experiences and exclusive merchandise. Fans can leave personal messages for BTS members using Galaxy AI Interpreter and create custom BTS stickers.
Korean Food Collaborations
The City will also include partnerships with London's Korean restaurants and cafes, such as Tokkia in Covent Garden, Seoul Bird in White City, DOPI in Bethnal Green, Deun Deun in Tower Hamlets, and Look Left in Hackney.
