Amazon Prime Day 2026 has launched, bringing price cuts on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles, alongside a range of video game discounts. The sale runs through Friday, June 26 for Amazon Prime members.

PS5 Console Discounts

The standard PlayStation 5 is available at 16% off, priced at £479, while the digital edition is reduced by 8% to £472.99. These mark some of the first console discounts seen in recent Prime Day events.

Xbox Console Deals

Amazon is offering refurbished Xbox Series X and Series S consoles. The Xbox Series X refurbished is £373.99, the 1TB White Digital Edition refurbished is £347.98, and the Xbox Series S refurbished is £195.97. A new Xbox Wireless Controller is also discounted to £39.99.

Nintendo Switch 2 No Discounts

There are no discounts for the Nintendo Switch 2, which is expected given its recent release. However, some Switch game deals are available, including Darkest Dungeon 2: Anniversary Edition at £76.49, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown at £14.99, and Star Wars Heritage Pack at £34.99.

Best PS5 Game Deals

Notable PS5 game discounts include Assassin's Creed Shadows Limited Edition at £27.99, Ninja Gaiden 4 at £25.99, Octopath Traveler 2 at £15.72, and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege X – Elite Edition at £9.99.

Best Xbox Game Deals

Xbox game highlights include Assassin's Creed Shadows at £29.99, Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition at £31.08, Dead Island 2 – Day One Edition at £15.24, and Lies Of P at £31.65.

Free PC Games for Prime Members

Amazon Prime members can claim 11 PC games for free, with four more available from June 25. Games include Mafia 3: Definitive Edition (available through July 6), Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered (through July 17), and XCOM: Chimera Squad (through August 31). Once claimed, games are kept forever, but must be claimed by specific dates.
