Southeastern trains between Lewisham and Bexley will be cancelled overnight this week as engineering work takes place on the network. The disruption affects services between Lewisham and Gravesend via Sidcup on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights, according to Southeastern.
Replacement buses and diversions
On Tuesday and Wednesday, September 22 and 23, from 11.10pm until the end of service, accessible buses will replace trains between Lewisham and Gravesend via Sidcup. Trains will instead be diverted via Bexleyheath.
On Thursday and Friday, September 24 and 25, from 12.10am until the end of service, accessible buses will again replace trains on the same route, with trains diverted via Bexleyheath.
Changes to late-night services from London Victoria
From Tuesday to Friday, September 22 to 25, there will also be changes to late-night services between London Victoria and Kent. The 12.40am London Victoria to Gillingham service will be diverted and run non-stop between London Victoria and Rochester.
Passengers should use the 12.42am London Victoria to Ashford International service to connect with replacement buses between Bromley South, Meopham, and Gillingham. The 12.25am London Victoria to Ashford International service will leave Victoria later than usual at 12.42am. After Bromley South, it will also stop at Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, and Ashford International.
Replacement buses will run between Bromley South and Ashford International, as well as between Maidstone East and Ashford International, calling at Bearsted and Lenham. A minibus will also run between West Malling and East Malling.
Early Friday morning service changes
On early Friday morning, September 25, the 4.23am Swanley to London Victoria service will start from Orpington at 4.26am. An accessible replacement bus will run between Swanley and Bromley South, departing at 3.49am and calling at St Mary Cray and Bickley.
Passengers are advised to check their journey before travelling and allow extra time. The engineering work is part of ongoing network maintenance, and Southeastern has not indicated further disruptions beyond the stated dates.
