Appeal Launched After Assault on Morning Commute
British Transport Police have launched a public appeal to identify a man they wish to speak to in connection with a serious sexual assault. The incident occurred on a crowded Elizabeth Line train during the morning rush hour.
The assault took place at approximately 9am on Tuesday, 11 November. The train service was travelling from Slough towards its central London destination of Tottenham Court Road.
Details of the Assault
According to investigators, the female victim was standing in a busy carriage when a man positioned himself behind her and sexually assaulted her. The attack was brazen, with the man reportedly continuing the assault even as the victim attempted to move away from him.
Officers have released a clear image of a man they believe may hold vital information that could assist their investigation. In the photograph, the individual is seen wearing a black puffer coat, blue tracksuit bottoms, and a white cap.
