PSG reject Arsenal and Liverpool interest in Bradley Barcola

Paris Saint-Germain have indicated that Bradley Barcola is not for sale despite heavy interest from Arsenal and Liverpool, according to reports. Barcola was a key player for Luis Enrique's side last season, scoring 13 goals in all competitions as the French club won Ligue 1 and the Champions League.

Barcola's contract situation and playing time concerns

Despite his success, the French winger is reportedly weighing up his future after growing unhappy with his reduced game-time. Barcola, currently at the World Cup with France, was named on the bench for PSG's Champions League final win over Arsenal and is reportedly not keen to extend his contract, which expires in 2028.

Premier League interest and PSG's stance

Premier League clubs have circled, with both Arsenal and Liverpool registering interest in signing Barcola this summer. Mikel Arteta is a known admirer and wants to strengthen his left-wing options, while Liverpool have identified Barcola as a target for new boss Andoni Iraola following Mohamed Salah's departure.

However, The Athletic reports that PSG have no desire to sell Barcola despite his grievances. The Parisians have already sold Goncalo Ramos to AC Milan for €74 million (£63.7m) and plan to cash in on Lee Kang-in and Randal Kolo Muani. PSG value Barcola at more than the £116m Manchester City paid for Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest.

Arsenal's alternative targets

Arsenal have other attacking targets, with a move for Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers their main focus. Rogers is said to be 'open' to a move to the Emirates, but Villa will reportedly demand a £130m fee. The Gunners have also explored a move for Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis, the Belgian Pro League Player of the Season, valued at €40m (£34.5m) after scoring 22 goals and providing 29 assists last season.

Liverpool, meanwhile, are keen on RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande but face competition from PSG. The Reds have already signed Victor Munoz from Osasuna and aim to strengthen further in wide areas this summer.
