Noah Okafor Injury: Leeds Star Misses Tottenham Clash

Noah Okafor will miss Leeds United's Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night due to a calf injury, the club has confirmed. The 25-year-old forward has been in outstanding form recently, netting six goals in his last seven league appearances.

Injury Details and Timeline

Okafor was forced off early in the second half of Leeds' 3-1 victory over Burnley last Friday after sustaining a calf problem. Speaking at the pre-match press conference, assistant manager Edmund Riemer—standing in for the ill Daniel Farke—revealed that Okafor will also be unavailable for the following home game against Brighton on May 17.

"As the manager mentioned last week, Gabi will be out for this week and we'll assess him on a daily basis," Riemer said. "We've got another one with Noah who picked up a calf strain so will miss the next two games. We're hopeful he'll be available for the last game. He sustained it after the FA Cup game, in the right calf. In the Burnley game he pulled the left calf. He'll likely be out the next two games."

Other Injury Concerns

Leeds are also without Gabriel Gudmundsson due to a hamstring injury, while centre-back Pascal Struijk is a doubt after picking up a hip contusion in training. Riemer added: "Pascal is not going to train today with us, he got a hip contusion and will train individually but we hope he'll be available."

Leeds' Current Form and Position

Leeds United are currently 14th in the Premier League table with 43 points, having gone unbeaten in their last six matches. They could secure their top-flight status on Sunday if Arsenal beat West Ham United.
