Manchester United are weighing up a move for former Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, who is available on a free transfer after his contract with the Serie A club expired earlier this summer, according to reports.
Vlahovic's stats and interest
The 26-year-old scored 10 goals for Juventus last season. He was a target for Arsenal four years ago and is now on Barcelona's striker shortlist for this summer. Vlahovic has already received an offer to join Turkish side Besiktas.
United's striker situation
According to the i Paper, United will consider signing Vlahovic if Joshua Zirkzee returns to Serie A. The report adds that if Zirkzee were to leave, United would look for an 'experienced striker' on a short-term deal as his replacement.
Juventus are working on a move for Zirkzee and want to sign the Netherlands international on a season-long loan with an option to make the move permanent next summer. United, however, would prefer a permanent sale but would need to replace Zirkzee before the end of the summer transfer window.
Zirkzee joined United in a £36.5m deal from Bologna in July 2024. The 25-year-old has scored nine goals in 75 appearances for United.
Other targets
United are also keeping tabs on Ollie Watkins' situation at Aston Villa.
