Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo has reached an agreement in principle to join Tottenham Hotspur before the end of the summer transfer window, according to Dutch outlet Voetbal International. Gakpo's Liverpool record and transfer fee
Gakpo, who joined Liverpool from PSV in a deal worth up to £45 million four years ago, has scored 50 goals in 180 appearances for the club. During his time at Anfield, he helped Liverpool win the Premier League title and the Carabao Cup.
According to the BBC, Liverpool are demanding a transfer fee in excess of £60 million for the 27-year-old. However, the club will not approve a sale unless a replacement is signed first.
