EastEnders actor confirms exit after playing Bruce

An actor who appeared on EastEnders has announced his departure from the BBC One soap, sharing his enthusiasm for what lies ahead. Tyler Kinghorn portrayed Bruce, the probation officer for Eddie Knight (Christopher Fairbank), in several episodes set in the fictional London borough of Walford.

Confirmation of Exit

Taking to Instagram, Kinghorn posted screenshots from his time on set and wrote: 'Had a wonderful time and experience playing Bruce on my TV Debut, on BBC ONE and looking forward to what the future holds.' The post confirmed that his stint on the show has concluded.

Bruce's Role in Recent Episodes

Bruce appeared in recent storylines after Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) agreed to house terminally ill convict Eddie, who was jailed for murdering George Knight’s (Colin Salmon) biological father. Nicola, currently in a relationship with George and mother to their newborn Ivy, suspected Eddie had ulterior motives. However, financial struggles led her to accept Eddie’s offer of money in exchange for lodging. Bruce visited Nicola’s home to inspect the property, believing she was Eddie’s friend’s daughter, and approved the move, much to the dismay of other Walford residents.
