Charity managed to scrape together only £5,000 for Doctor Todd and tried to intimidate her into leaving the village. The plan seemed to work when Caitlin later told Vanessa Woodfield about her intention to leave. However, the evil surgeon has no plans to depart just yet.
Discovery at the Woolpack
In tonight's episode, Doctor Todd had lunch with Manpreet Sharma before her supposed exit. As they discussed Caitlin's potential romance with Vanessa, Ryan Stocks was nearby doing pub admin. When Ryan chatted with Manpreet about Charity, he inadvertently revealed that his mother actually owns half of the Woolpack. Doctor Todd, who believed Charity was merely a barmaid, quickly realized the truth.
Arriving at the pub, Doctor Todd gleefully informed Charity that the price for keeping baby Leyla's secret has now risen to a six-figure sum. Charity was horrified but knew Caitlin was deadly serious.

Discussing the upcoming scenes, actress Emma Atkins said: 'She's like, "Why?" Charity's not willing to divulge, she's like, "You don't need to know." Kim's like, "Oh, I think I do. Nobody in their right mind would sell their share of this great hub, the epicentre of the village, why?" "You don't need to know," and she will not let the guard down, she won't let her mask slip. She's just suggesting that she wants less responsibility in her life, and obviously the audience will know why. So, yeah, she's definitely suspicious. At the moment, I think she is the only one.'
