The hunt for Theo Silverton's killer continues on Coronation Street, but DS Lisa Connor-Swain faces a dilemma as multiple suspects emerge. Theo, played by James Cartwright, made many enemies during his time on the cobbles due to his abusive relationship with husband Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce). Todd suffered months of abuse, but only recently did friends and neighbors see Theo's true colors.
Gary Windass Under Suspicion
As Theo's sinister side was exposed, he lost not only Todd but also business partner Gary Windass (Mikey North), who supported Todd. Gary, known for taking matters into his own hands, becomes the prime suspect after Theo's death. Next week, Lisa and colleague DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) agree that Gary's alibi doesn't hold up. However, unable to retrieve deleted CCTV footage from Gary's computer, Lisa admits they are back to square one.
Kit Green's Balancing Act
Kit confronts Gary on the street, warning him he remains the top suspect. Actor Jacob Roberts described the challenge of investigating neighbors: 'It's definitely a balancing act. It makes things very difficult when you have to interrogate someone intensely and then see them for a pint in the pub. You have to put the police head on and switch back to being a friend. It's like playing two different characters, but ultimately, it's two sides of the same man—one loyal, the other determined to get justice.'
Todd Grimshaw Emerges as Alternative Suspect
Lisa isn't convinced Gary is the killer. Her attention turns to Todd when she spots him glaring at her and Kit in the Rovers. She interprets his animosity as guilt. But is Todd simply struggling to process Theo's death? The investigation continues with twists ahead.
