Coronation Street's Jodie Ramsey, played by Olivia Frances-Brown, is a master manipulator, but her latest scheme may have cost her the upper hand against Daniel Osbourne, portrayed by Rob Mallard.
Jodie's Plan Unravels
Viewers are aware that Jodie and Daniel have been staying in his flat for several days, with his family believing he needed time away. After learning of his supposed absence, Jodie stole a spare key to his flat, hoping to stay there after being evicted by the Platts. However, she was shocked when Daniel emerged from the bathroom, and she quickly realized her lies would not fool him. Eventually, she convinced him to let her stay, and they have been living together in relative harmony since then.
The Fateful Lie
In tonight's episode, Jodie unwittingly sabotaged herself with her latest tactic. She told Daniel that she had heard Bertie was struggling without him, even wetting the bed. This prompted Daniel to end his pretense and return home, rushing to No.1 to pick up his son. However, upon arrival, he discovered that Bertie was staying with a friend and having a great time during his absence. Daniel quickly confronted Jodie about her lie, but she insisted it was for his own good, as he could not hide forever. Though she managed to convince him it was for the best, it came at her own expense, as Daniel then explained that with Bertie returning home, she would have to find somewhere else to stay.
