Michael Carrick has told four Manchester United players that they will feature sparingly this season and can leave the club this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
Four youngsters told to find new clubs
The quartet comprises Harry Amass, Dan Gore, Toby Collyer, and Radek Vitek. Amass spent last season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday and Norwich City but will be allowed to leave despite impressing in pre-season friendlies against Wrexham and Rosenborg. Midfielders Gore and Collyer also spent last season away from the club, with Gore at Rotherham United and Collyer potentially returning to Hull City following their promotion to the English top-flight.
Vitek keen for first-team football
Goalkeeper Radek Vitek appears poised to leave after an impressive loan spell at Bristol City last year. The 22-year-old is keen for a move away to continue his development. He told reporters after United's defeat to Wrexham: 'I feel great and ready to go again somewhere to hopefully be No1. I hope there will be some interest. I think you will know when the things are more concrete. There's been a few interests on the table, but we're hoping to get the best one and hopefully it will happen soon. I want to play every week and that's the goal for next season. Hopefully I find out soon where that's going to be.'
Carrick's rebuild continues
Carrick is seeking to rebuild his squad as he prepares for his first full season in charge. United have made it a priority to bolster their midfield after Casemiro's departure, with Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans arriving from Chelsea and Aston Villa, respectively. Karl Darlow has also joined from Leeds United as back-up to Senne Lammens. United are still keen to make further additions, particularly in midfield, with Manu Kone and Carlos Baleba among the names under consideration.
Senior players also available
United are also ready to sanction the departure of several senior players to raise funds for further incomings. Joshua Zirkzee is attracting interest from Juventus, while Marcus Rashford faces an uncertain future after his return from a loan at Barcelona.
